It was such a beautiful day outside. The boy had finally taken his girlfriend somewhere that wasn't crowded, loud, or even smelly. He had brought her to one of the most calm places he knew about, an empty clean, fresh, clear-watered creek. For, the two have been dating for about 4 years, and they were both about to go off to collage. They walked down the stone path, through a forest that lead them to the clean creek, holding hands with a tight grip. Once they made it there, the sight was breath-taking. The girl couldn't think of anything else more wonderful than this. The guy then stopped both of them from walking and made direct eye contact with the girl. He then got down on one knee- making the girl gasp in awe- he then looked down.. and said in the calmest way he could possibly say... took a slight inhale and said "what are those?" Pointing at the girls shoes.

"Do you know how hard it is for me knowing that you're with someone else?" Tyler asked, staring at me intensely. "You think this is easy for me?" I asked, trying to hold back my tears. "I didn't say it was -" he began, but I cut him off. "It's not. I have to go around hating myself. Hating myself for thinking about you. Hating myself for wanting you. I just want to stop feeling this way." I stepped closer to him as my voice shook with every word. "I want to forget about you, but I just--." The rest of my sentence was cut short as Tyler took the final step, closing the gap between us and brought his lips to mine. ~~~~~~~~ Tyler is back from college to find out that the girl who once held his heart has a new boyfriend.
