Lynel Steele is a man that is on the brink of death, and all he wants is to just live the remaining days of his life in peace. That peace is rare, however, as he holds a secret that makes him the target of the police, military, and private organizations. And that secret is destroying his life, until he meets the mysterious Mirabelle, who is able to provide some light to his dark world.

Together with his only friend, Dylan, they learn of a new series of enforcement robots that lead them on a path that could provide the answers to Lynel's secret, and fill in the holes of his past. But, Lynel may not like what he finds.

This is the first story that I have published online.  I started it sometime back, and it's in its rough draft phase.  I've halted at chapter 5, so I haven't added anything to the story in several months.  I intend to get back to this someday and even rework what I already have.All Rights Reserved

Adlet Blacksteel is the newest edition to the E.H.P.D., his skills and experience as a hostage extractor makes him an invaluable edition. Joined by his new partner, Jenna Jones, he pursues a secretive manhunt for the Soldiers Of The New World, an underground E.H. crime organization that has a hand in all that is illegal, and their mysterious leader: String, who, seemingly, has eyes and ears everywhere. While Adlet and Jenna intend on doing this by the books, their unsavory past with two of String's captains may muddy their judgement, or, more accurately, it already has. As String's ambitions grow beyond just controlling the city's underbelly Adlet and Jenna are forced to take action with an ally he did not desire. While prejudice against E.H.s reaches it's peak because of a horrific tragedy, the Soldiers of the New World waste no time to expand their reach and rally for their cause of taking over the city. He is at least somewhat aware of us, the reader, and acknowledges us often, that's why he takes explains things with oddly, making a comment or two about how he should've known you wouldn't know that thing. Idk I thought it'd be interesting. And by interesting I mean a chance to absolutely horrify you and gouge your heart out :DDD! But yeah I hope y'all enjoy, best of luck.
