I felt his presence again. Right behind my back as he lay a cold finger on my left tricep. Sliding it up and down while I stood there frozen, not knowing what to do. I was trapped in the cage of shock and a nonexistent creature. Or at least I thought creatures like him where nonexistent. Is he even called a creature? Looking back to the day when I met...it, I knew it was too good to be true. She was called Ashley Broce. A 17 year old teenager who fulfilled and gained the degree of High-school before the normal year. She was gifted. Though after 'that' day, is it the only thing she is gifted in? Talking to walking dead is something that us normal humans call being mentally challenged, although she had no choice. She was doomed in the arms of the Ghostly Gorgeous, She was claimed by this Ghostly Gorgeous. Dead or alive, her soul was claimed. It was too good to be true. In addition, he is connected to her by not just a random bond, but also families that lead back to the 1900s. A paranormal suspense that goes through broken families, curse, and a divine child, everything she has known turns false. Everything she is, was just a half lie. But one question remained. Can she turn him back to a human?

I frowned, thrown off "Do i...remember?" "Do you remember..." she starts but her voice falters. She glances down at the sand, biting her lip debating whether to even continue. She then takes a shaky breath and finally looks up. Eyes locking with mine " do you even remember how you got it?" Her question hits me like a slap. I open my mouth, then close it, my brows furrowing as I force my brain to rewind. How did I get it? Nothing. Not a single clear memory. She steps closer, her voice trembling, but the edge of anger sharpening her words. "Or when? Or where? Or for what reason? Or what it even means?!" I flinch at her tone, but I can't answer her. I try. God, I try.. I look down at the sand beneath my feet, forcing myself to dig through every memory, every hazy night out, every stupid decision I might've made-but nothing. Not a single moment of how I got it surfaced. I let out a frustrated breath and rake a hand through my hair, feeling the panic rise like bile in my throat. When I finally lift my head to speak, Ashley's already staring at me, and I can tell-she knows my answer before I say a word. "You don't remember," she says softly, nodding like she expected it all along. __________________________________________ Crazy thing happened...Three years ago, a tragic accident left Ashley scarred and shattered.
