This is about a girl named China and she's 16 years old. She is in foster care and her foster parents are abusive. She wishes that she was with her family but she decided to run away because nobody cared about her except a couple of best friends that were there with her. All she got is a job at Footlocker and she doesn't even make enough for her to but her new clothes. She lives in Milwaukee WI which is really dangerous. She just needs somebody to protect her until she goes to her new school Rufus King High School where she finds a boy that is actually willing to help her but not in a nice way. Will she take the help or figure it out on her own????
