Jacqueline Prideaux becomes a self destructive gamer when her mother confesses that she'd never loved her own daughter only days after her best friends fatal car accident. Throwing herself into a food-less, water-less gaming binge she realizes she can either stop and live or play to die. As she spirals downward in deep depression, Jacqueline finds herself faced with a once in a lifetime opportunity. In the darkness of a world she has never been, a robotic figure comes to her and proposes the murder of her life in exchange for a challenge. If she wins she dies. If she lives, she also dies but with the reward of bringing her best friend back to life. She accepts the challenge. After all... she does love her games.

The thing about suicide is that it doesn't end with you. Emory Mathison had every reason to take her life after a cyber-bullying video goes viral. She thought her pain would end with a bottle of pills. Imagine her surprise when she wakes as a ghost trapped in Purgatory with a Reaper who has an ultimatum: witness first-hand what her death has done to the future, past, and present of those around her, or remain wandering as a lost soul until she reaches insanity. You can take your life, but what about the people around you? What happens to them? (Book 1 of The Fighter's Series)
