Scratch

A girl in high school is picking flowers for Mother's Day.
A car drives up.
A struggle.
And she's gone.

She's dressed in all black now, awakened by pain and looking at her own bruised skin. All around her there is the plain darkness. Abuse. Years later, she has matured into a witty, sharp-tongued teen. Her defiance in her...circumstances results in another struggle.

She walks by the boy with no social skills and reckless friends.
She enters a room, following the man in black.
A gunshot, a scream. The boy runs to her.
Blood. Another gunshot.

They're both dead.
For now.
