July 4th, 1776. For many, this marks the day the United States declared its independence against Britain. For Daniel Harlow, a 21 year old citizen of The Colonies, this marks the day on which Britain prevailed against Washington on the battlefield, and tore down the rebellion. Now, nearly 240 years later, The Colonies still remain. In the wake of an attack on the British Consulate in Philadelphia, Daniel faces an unbearable loss, which pulls him into a war he never knew existed.

But it isn't till her parents start introducing "gentlemen" into the picture, that Ginny realizes how truly torn her heart is. Ginny is stuck trying to figure out how to live life with all its up and downs. She feels as though her soul is being ripped in to. Should she follow her parents, and be loyal to the country she once called home; or should she become independent like the country her heart is rooted in?Concluida
