Galen Nightwater was only a baby when he was whisked away from his home one stormy night. He knows nothing of his real past, being fed half-true stories all his life. His guardian, Marcus, is a mysterious bundle of secrets that is sealed tighter that the King's Vault. Galen has always known that his guardian was a strange man, but had never given much thought as to why. In the small town of Fairdell, Marcus makes a life for Galen to enjoy. It was a wonderful childhood and Galen even befriends a little girl named Jade. The two became fast friends and remained so all the way into adulthood. But things begin to change... The palace is in turmoil as the Steward who is planning on being crowned king, finds out that no one has made sure that the actual heir to the throne was dead. Rumors begin to spread about the secret prince who is biding his time, waiting, for the right moment to strike. Extremely paranoid that he will claim the throne, the Steward goes on a manhunt for the prince...and anyone associated with him.All Rights Reserved
