Something isn't quite right with Evie Carter.
It's December 1st, nearly a year since her near death experience, the one she can't remember, and just last night someone -or something- attacked her in her aunt's kitchen. Not her best moment, that's for sure. Now she's getting stalked and there's no telling what will happen next.

Ian is dead.
He doesn't know how or when, just that it is what it is. At least, it was, until Evie became the first person to see in God knows how long. Now Ian will do anything to protect her from the mysterious force from his side of the Veil trying to break through in search of 'the Key'.

It's all Evie can do not to fall for Ian, and Ian doesn't know what to do when he falls for Evie. The only thing certain is that someone won't see the New Year.

15 yr old Gwen's life takes a turn for the worst when her family is tragically killed in a car accident. Being the only one left, she moves to a strange town to live with her cousin and aunt unaware of the many dark and sinister secrets the small-town holds. Now armed with the supernatural ability to see ghosts, Gwen must take on the risks and challenges that come with being a seer. Evil is all around her, lurking in the shadows. Will she be able to save the souls of the innocent and the future of the ignorant? Even if such comes with a heavy price to pay... In short, I suck at descriptions. Just read the book if you like death and dark themes.
