Valhollow is a quaint little town right on the edge of a bay in Maine. On another edge of the town is the Forest. A vast expanse of woods that nobody really knows where ends. There are local legends of the Forest, legends of creatures that dwell within. Many are not brave enough to live close by. Few families live near the Forest, and though some are not bothered by the legends, many are. Blythe Morgan was brought up not to fear the things that go bump in the night, but will she be unafraid when they come retrieve her?
