Niklaus Matthews, an erudite born, is fast approaching his Aptitude test. It will help him to decide the biggest choice of his life, which faction to choose. His mother, Jeanine Matthews, has always been certain Niklaus would remain in Erudite, but he himself is not so sure. But he knows that all he has to do is trust the test.
This story is set before Tris and Four, but they will come into it eventually.
Divergent Fanfiction, only the new characters belong to me, everything else belongs to Veronica Roth.
