17 year old Violet has all she could dream of;
A happy family, a loving mom, a proud dad, an adorable little brother, good grades, and an amazing social life.

In her diary, that is.

Her real life has never involved rainbows and sunshine,
but with the tragic death of her dad it has officially hit rock bottom.
Now that her last relative has died, she is left completely alone to fend for herself.

Living from stealing, begging, and one-day jobs she finds herself homeless, sleeping on benches in the park or on papers under a bridge. When one day she gets arrested and brought to the local orphanage, life seems to take a weird twist. From living in complete freedom, to living in small rooms with tons of other children. Bullying and taunting make her self-consious, something she has never felt before. Being eaten alive by depression makes her decision to end it all easier. With a paper goodbye and a bottle of pills she ends her suffering.

But not by dying like she expected.
But by that one weird guy who stalks into her room every now and then.
