Rather, he SHOULD have a gift. But, in spite of the efforts of both himself and his teachers, he seems unlikely to move any higher in the ranks of the Joyous Wood's Changing coven.

When he finds his powers, the Coven is completely unprepared. For Morda's talents are far greater than anyone, even Morda, suspected--and his anger is far deeper and more dangerous. 

All legends have a beginning. This is the story of Morda Bonemaker, Emperor, and his sister the Mors Mordre. A companion story to Aurian and Jin.
