Dean looked up when he heard the doors opening and saw Sam walking in. "Wow Sammy, you look like crap; 'course you've been looking like crap for the past couple months." Dean said with a smug smirk on his face. Sam looked at the demon, the demon that was his brother, with pain clearly in his eyes. Dean continued on with his teasing. 'What failing cure do you have for me today, huh Sammy?"
Sam said nothing as he picked up a silver blade from a table in the room that held items from other cures he had tried in the past, all his failures towards saving his brother.Tous Droits Réservés

During a dangerous case with Sam and Dean something goes wrong and Castiel goes missing, this isn't like the other times Cas has disappeared, this is different, it's strange even for Cas. With Castiel gone Dean doesn't eat or sleep he just drinks and prays wondering if Cas can hear him. Day and night he checks the newspapers and police reports from every city, and county in the US for any sign of the trench coat angel. With no leads things become even more bleaker. Dean throws himself down a hole, and Sam is becoming increasingly worried about about Dean so he seeks out help from from another angel to see if they know anything about the whereabouts of Castiel. Castiel is lost he doesn't know where he is or who he is. He just goes where his feet take him. He never eats or sleeps but he doesn't he have to, he doesn't know why he doesn't eat and it doesn't bother him much cause it would just slow him down. He remembers nothing about Sam or Dean or even himself for that matter, but something is itching at the wall in the back of his head trying to break through, it wants to get out but can't. He gets fragments of things every so often but they are of pain and torture and a redhead he doesn't know the name of. One day a pleasant memory comes through the cracks in his wall he can't place where it came from. The only thing he knows is he needs to find the man with the stunning green eyes. As time progresses, Dean still never got used to the same black and white filter of the world. All he wanted was to see colors again. One day, Dean notices a student who was filled with colors. That student ended up being Castiel, the angel who saved Dean but did not restore his eyesight to normal. When Cas first found Dean, he cured him and became his guardian angel for quite some time and he eventually fell in love with him. One day, Dean finally got the guts to talk to Castiel and suddenly his world was full of colors. Dean didn't get paid nearly enough for the job he did. Seriously. Using the money he had set aside for his missing brother to purchase Lucifer's Prom Dress from a monster auction, and then traveling halfway across the country with Heaven and Hell's most coveted weapon riding shotgun had to be worth more than credit card fraud could provide. And if that wasn't bad enough, the Boy with the Demon Blood just had to be named Sam, didn't he? Sam didn't get paid enough, either, but he was significantly less picky than Dean. He just wanted a family, a place to call home, a chance to find out what hug was like, and maybe a break from the constant nightmares. If that was too much to ask, he would understand, seeing as he was a stupid, disobedient, demon-blooded monster who disappointed every owner he had. Just one thing, then? Maybe? Just an older brother to get in between him and the monsters and pain and nightmares; one who would sometimes, if Sam was a very good boy, call him Sammy and give him hugs. Yeah, that would be nice. That would be more than enough for Sam.

Sam's heart beat rapidly as he continued struggling against the ropes. He flipped his hair out of his eyes as Benjamin continued, "I told you that I wanted Jack... and I intend to get him." "That's never going to happen!" Sam argued. Benjamin shrugged. "We shall see." He glanced down at a watch on his wrist. "In about two minutes, you're going to pass out and forget all about this conversation happening. In about twelve hours, you're going to start to feel the affects of the poison kick in." "After twenty-two hours, you will fall ill, in which, you--or rather-- your brother, will have two hours remaining to bring me Jack." He paused. "Or else you die." Sam cleared his throat. "And how is he supposed to do that if I don't even remember I've been poisoned?" Benjamin shot a finger into the air. "Ah, yes! I almost forgot. When you reach twenty-two hours, you will start to remember our meeting. Only by then, you will be too sick to do anything about it." As Sam stared at Benjamin, his head began to feel heavy as his vision blurred. His eyelids slowly began to close as his head bobbed. "Tick-tock," came Benjamin's distant voice.
