"You poor, stupid child," he merely laughed. "Your parents were the crooks, don't you see? Everything they had, all you see around you, was stolen - from me." Well, he'd known that much already, right? But just who was this guy? What kind of idiots were his parents to take everything from only one source? "As a matter of fact..." he mused, casually strolling forward until he was right in front of the shorter male, "that would include you as well, wouldn't it? "Oh Fin haven't you realized it yet" the voice asked mockingly, "us deities and gods alike have been watching you closely, seeing how you stack up against what this world has to offer" I heard a laugh "and frankly I have to say, I'm not impressed". He let a sliver of his face be shown in the firelight I had been so wrong "Tell me who you are" I ask, although the answer couldn't have been clearer. Once again he laughed, a strange and horrifying mix between that of a child and a beasts. "I really don't see how it matters" he finally says, "you'll die all the same" The campfire went out leaving me in darkness
