She wakes up in a cage cold and confused. She refuses to show any weakness in this strange new place; she shoves everything down, deep down behind a mask of indifference snippy remarks and a few right hooks. She wont let these new and strange boys see her cry, she wont show them any signs of weakness. She can't, she's the only girl and she needs to be tough. It's the only way to survive this harsh new world she finds herself in. Being tough and ruthless catches the attention of one particular builder. He's not one for emotions either, especially in a place like the Glade. He knows something is off, and he does his absolute best to keep order around him and in him, when everything's falls apart. Are these two destined to be together? Or are they too similar in personalities? Are they too broken from their own traumas to work it out? Maybe she likes him. Kind of. Maybe he might like her.
