Nao Tomori is the president of the student council and a hardworking first year in Hoshinoumi Academy. She has an elder brother, Kazuki, who is also a fan of the band called ZHIEND. He had been hospitalized and slowly recovering from what the scientist's experiments had done to him. But instead of getting better, it was having the opposite effect. His situation is getting critical, and his sister tries her best to persevere through this, no matter what may happen. That being said, still bearing her emotionless and smiling expression to cover the facade.

Meanwhile, Yu Otosaka, though gradually gaining knowledge of his Loot ability, was having troubles of his own. Shunsuke is suddenly no longer with him, greatly transforming his personality for a few hours, although he remains positive and knows that his brother wouldn't want him to be mourning. Ayumi also helps him get over his passing away, and they go to visit his graveyard to pay their respect. After, he received a message from Joujirou and Yusa about the platinum haired girl and her troubles with her older sibling slowly dying.
