He lowers his face to mine, and I can feel hot air fan my cheeks as his lips come dangerously close to my forehead.
"Yeah, I'm not Nurse Robinson."
I scoff, not used to the close proximity between us, and reply, "No shit. So why ARE you in the nurse's office?"
"I'm the replacement." A smile full of straight, white teeth and dimples that cut into his cheeks dazzle me and I swallow nervously.
"Rest well, babe." And then the curtain swishes close.

All super-feminist Chi "Chai" Parker knows is that when she wakes up in her school's Nurses' Office after getting dunked by a couple of dickheads, is that Nurse Robinson, the school's resident nurse-out-of-a-high-school-movie, is gone. And the person who has been treating her cuts and scrapes is the hot nephew of Robinson, namely a boy called River Phillips.
A few weeks after her 'incident' at the nurse's, and Chi is heading to her part-time job at a cafe downtown. But what surprises her is the new gaggle of customers at the back--all cut and bruised and bloody, and River seems to belong to one of the black-eyed bunch, as well.
But what happens next?
**IMPORTANT NOTE:
Hello lovelies! I'd just like to say that I am NOWHERE implying that it's abnormal for a nurse to be a male, but I just wanted to break the stereotype of having those cozy female-nurse characters we see in high school movies! *shrugs* It is going to be a very interesting adventure for me as I attempt to write this, and I hope that my insufficient knowledge of the medicinal industry won't hinder the story that much! *sighhs*

Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
