I'm not sweet, she is. I'm not loveable, she is. I'm not good at showing affection, she is.
But what will happen if she finds out about my past? Would she still love me the same?
I don't want to let her go. I don't want to leave her either.

In the beginning she was alive, her soul bare for this man, loved him with every fiber of her being. She was willing to give up everything that she had for him and worked hard for the future they both hoped for each other; when he still existed. She loved him but did he ever feel the same way? He was loving, caring, and kind; everything a girl could ever wish for in a man. The words destructive and inhuman would've never crossed her mind to describe her husband; or was she so stupid to see it all from the very beginning? Every day she prayed to the man above that the love and attention she constantly gave him would be enough to change such characteristic; no, flaw. But it wasn't so. Every day was a battle, getting worse and worse; that one day she just snapped. ***STRONG PLOT AND LANGUAGE*** ***UPDATE*** To my great surprise, this story has been getting more reads than I ever thought possible. I reread what I wrote once again and tried not to cringe at the many errors and awful sentence structure I had. So in the spirit of Christmas I will try to edit and perfect this story. The Prophecy
Ariella's biggest desire in life has always been such a simple one. She wants to be 'normal.' Unfortunately, that one simple wish has never been within her grasp. Coming from a long line of witches is bad enough, but she's even more different than the rest of her family. The fact that no one will give her any answers to why she's so different doesn't help matters. Her entire existence is shrouded in secrets that everyone around her refuses to reveal. She quickly realizes that sometimes ignorance really is bliss, and maybe she didn't really want to know the answers to the questions she'd always asked, especially when one of these truths causes people close to her to turn their backs on her without hesitation. Before she can even recover from the shock, she's thrust into a war that she hadn't even known existed. Loyalties will be tested. She'll have to choose sides between all of the people she's come to care about. Will she stand with her family, her new friends, or the two boys who both hold a piece of her heart? For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island.
