"Everybody has secrets, everybody has gone through something that has changed them to be someone that they are today. i don't think i can trust anyone now." i said looking down, not having it in me to look in his eyes.

"I know I made some mistakes. I was stupid. Kiara, when you showed up, you changed me. you changed me into a better person that i am today. when i saw you, my center shifted."

I felt a tear on my hand, unable to make out if it was mine or his.
