After her Poppa passes away Holly and her family move to country to live with her race horse trainer Nana Bella. Holly is naturally talented rider and is quickly offered a jockey apprenticeship. She befriends local track rider and show jumper Rory Cunningham who helps her retrain a retired racehorse into a brilliant show jumper. After early success on the track and in the arena Holly risks losing it all when she mysteriously fails a routine drug test.
Failing to prove her innocence Holly loses both her apprenticeship and budding romance with Rory. Although circumstances continually try to bring Holly and Rory back together, he remains set on alienating her.
Through pure dedication and hard work Holly manages to dodge many speed bumps in her quest to qualify for horse of the year and gain a show jumping sponsorship deal. But with Rory also going for the horse of the year title and the sponsorship this could be grudge match of the year - show jumping style.

At first she doesn't think she can until a beautiful grayish white mustang comes to her dad's farm, who Rose names later as Stardust. Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not.
