Allison Bennett, a young teenager living in the city Monroe is dismissed all her life of her true meaning. Born to Rachael and Micah Bennett, Allison arrived here prematurely barely with life. She was told from the hospital it was a miracle she survived and until this day seemed to be a miracle child. Allison lived a somewhat normal life, at least to her knowledge it was what she considered normal. Her mother’s past kept secret and her father’s over protectiveness never really raised questions in her until now. And then something happened, that dreadful night when Allison’s life changed forever. The events that took place that night, leaving her father in a mentally empty place.

Leaving a young Allison to the state of Louisiana because his only living relatives were afraid of her. They felt somehow she was the reason for her parents demise. It was a mystery however when a woman appeared and claimed to be her, Aunt Rae, a small woman that resembled her mother but in a younger sense. She came to Monroe to claim her niece Allison. It was there, things started to get a little bit stranger for Allison, finding out she had family and close at that. Being told at an early age that most of her mother’s family was far away or non-existent in her life. Her Aunt Rae took her and moved her back to her original home in New Orleans where she would now have to call home. There, Allison would learn what her mother tried so hard to keep from her. What they feared would happen if she’d ever step foot in that cursed place. Allison had been kept in secret from the rest of her family for a reason and now that everybody knew, some feared her others would worship the ground she walked. They knew what she was destined to be and for that she was valuable to them.
