Serena was made to realize the harsh way that society has no place for fat girls like her. All she can try doing is survive High School. For three years, she falls into a routine, one where she's isolated while being forced to endure the taunts and bullying that come her way. Things change when she makes her first friend in a long time, a result of a series of misunderstandings. Nobody would have paid attention to the new friendship encroaching campus barriers, had he not been Gabriel Sato, the School's infamous Bad Boy. Journey along with Serena as she navigates the tides of weird friendships, body image and surviving her final year of High School before being thrust out into World as a full-bodied adult. *** The title allures to the fact that no matter who you are, there's always words you're afraid to say. Sofia is an ordinary girl, trying to live her life as normally as possible. Being a teen in high school isn't easy for her. Especially finding her place among her peers may be the hardest part of everything. School is more of an obligation for her and she can't wait to start into senior year and leave everyone behind. Except for her closest friend Miley, she has nobody at school where Sofia can truly be herself until she gets to know the true colors of Miley. One day everything changed. Being invisible wasn't enough to hide from him, so he made it clear he wanted more with her. (This story has a second book where the characters are adults. Definitely want to recommend it to teens and also adults as well!)
