Each was sweating, the magical auras around their horns beaming brightly. In the center of the magic circle, the auras wove into a rainbow beam. Through the open skylight in the room, the beam shot out, facing the moon directly. Luna was standing on the side, looking up at the moon in hope. A rainbow sphere at the tip of the beam was coming closer and closer. It was slowly lowered into the throne room until the entire floor was just a ball of light. At once, the auras disappeared and the four alicorns stepped back. The light gradually died down to reveal a purple figure with large dark horns, curled up on the floor, clutching a silver hourglass. Edit: Oh my god, I finished! I worked so hard to create characters and a plot that seemed real and as a 12-year-old first-time author I think I did such a good job.
