The country of Hogwarts consists of 4 districts, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Gryffindor. They are all ruled by the Capitol with little free will given to them. After the Dark Days ended, the leaders of Hogwarts decided to make sure that anything close to the Dark Days would never occur again. Because of this, they created the Hogwarts Games, where 3 males and 3 females between the ages of 12 and 18 from each district would be sent to the Capitol for special treatment and then to a special arena where they will fight to the death until only one participant is left.
In the district of Gryffindor lives a 16 year old named Hermione Granger. She is the leader and provider of her household, hunts illegally and hates the Capitol more than anyone can. What will happen when she volunteers for her 12 year old sister, Liz? How will this change her? How will being in the games affect her previous relationships and the relationships of the people that she meets? In a night of music and first date awkwardness, certain pressing matters are placed on a sidelines. With a enjoyable night slowing wining to an end, plans are made for a second date. The year full of shocking events only got more shocking with the girl how was once unknown to the Wizarding World entered the public eye in an irritating news report. August was full of hope and excitement for the new school year that would be full of new spells and experiences, but November came with fear and overwhelming anxiety. When Hermione finds her self coming back to Hogwarts for a Manditory 8th year, she is put in a place she shouldn't be. A place too close to Draco Malfoy a place were it should be impossible for her to stand and Draco is determined to find out why and how. We, The Ministry have decided that all people who were in attendance of they're seventh year at Hogwarts during the war is required to return back to Hogwarts for a mandatory 8th year. As this is mandatory all former 7th years will be in attendance, if you are to refuse the resorting program you will be transferred to the nearest Wizarding school for a year. Upon your re-arrival at Hogwarts all new 8th years will be required to be re-sorted due to the fact that now you are no longer under Age, your personality may have changed especially due to the war. This is a program that will be exclusive to the new 8th years however, 4th years to 7th years will be eligible to apply if they were heavily involved in the war.
