Cora is a 14 year old girl with a lot of imagination and a wild sense of adventure that often get's her into sticky situations. She pictures herself as a female Indiana Jones and it's no wonder that she spends most of her time treking through tropical jungles or sneaking around through mud. 

Her life is put upside down one day when her aunt Madeline threatens her father to take her away to teach her to 'be a proper lady'. Cora strikes a bargain with her aunt asking to give her until her 15th birthday, but with it only a month away, what is a poor 14 year old girl to do?

This story is still work in progress and I will be going back to edit it later. It was originally written for a school assignment and was just lying around when I decided I might as well upload something since I have an account. I haven't written a story in about 5 years so i'm a bit rusty with all of the mechanics :)
