Because of her disability, Autumn couldn't imagine a popular guy like Tanner to be talking to her, thinking it's part of a joke. But when the opposite pair start spending time together, Tanner starts to see a whole new side of Autumn, and at the same time, the two grow closer to each other. But being an Aspie is not easy for Autumn, all she wants is to be normal, but she knows she can't. She has to suffer from her disability every day, while at the same time dealing with the people who see her as the odd one out. But Tanner isn't going to let that happen, he will do anything to give Autumn the Senior year she deserves. This is no normal romantic story, it's different, it's unique. She simply waits for everything to get better, after all what's the point in trying when the world will do whatever they can to drag you down. Her only escape from this twisted reality is a creature named Shadow. A terrifying creature that is somehow more humane than the so-called humans around her. Shadow could easily take all her problems away, but Melody refuses to take the easy way out. That is, until she just couldn't take it anymore, she takes Shadow's offer and soon her life got better. Her bullies started disappearing, showing up dead in the woods. Their bodies badly mutilated, almost unrecognizable. Life at school started getting better, she finally had human friends and even a boyfriend. Her "father" was found dead at her house. The torture had finally ended. Unfortunately this story doesn't have a happy ending, after all karma always strikes back.Complete
