Head, Arm, Wings, Leg, Tail. All pieces brought together in 5 marks to form an existence of great importance.

But theres no existence that can live without a beating heart.

*********

I'll start it off simple for you. My name is Skylar Armina and I've lived in the Satellite my entire life. Unlike a lot of people here, I dont wish I could live in the extravagance of New Domino City. My mom would always tell me stories of how corrupted it became and it scared her enough to make her move here where she had me. She never told me what exactly scared her so much but the way she visibly trembled at the mention of it made me believe her nonetheless.

Unfortunately, she died when I turned 15 from an incurable illness. But before she passed, she made me promise not to go into the basement until I turned 18. I kept my word and didn't dare go into the lower level of our broken down home for 3 years, during which I barely made ends meat. On my 18th birthday, I ventured down into the basement and nearly had a heart attack when I found a brand new looking duel runner, duel disk and my mothers old deck placed in the compartment.

That was the first day I ran into Officer Trudge as I took the runner for a drive. He tried to challenge me to a duel to bring me in for having a runner and a deck. But little did he know, my mothers deck was special, and I was the only one who knew how to play it right. I won, but I knew it wouldnt be the last time I would see him.

However, what I didnt know, was that this was my first stride on my path into hyperdrive.

[NOTE: I have left this fic and am currently rewriting a new version of it. It may have slightly different story, but hopefully the outcome will end up the same. On the offchance that this is better than my rewrite, I've left it up for others to read. However, please know that I may not ever update this fic anymore, so I have marked it as a completed fic. Also, this is based on a combination of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Japanese version of the anime, as well as the three story games for Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's; World Championship 2009 Stardust Accelerator, World Championship 2010 Reverse of Arcadia, and World Championship 2011 Over The Nexus.] The Weather Painters have been passed on to a new Duelist. In a world where Signers are given signature Synchro Dragons to save the world, the Weather Painters must adapt to the new situation, and the legacy of card creators continues. Awoken by a searing pain on her arm, a young girl finds herself lost and stranded in the Satellite with no memory of her past. The only thing that comes to mind is the special deck of cards she must protect, as well as the rules of the Duel. Although lonely and afraid, she must remember her name and past in order to change the future of Satellite and New Domino City. Read on as she progresses to learn about Turbo Duels, the Satellite and New Domino City, and befriends more and more people to support her as she takes her first steps into a world of the unknown. (You don't have to have read GX: Hope Spectrum before this, but this takes place after that story, just like 5D's took place before GX. I only own the main character and a few of her cards, but not all of them. Please enjoy! :D)

43 parts Complete Mature
No memory, a blank slate, but...it wasn't always that way. Rai Yushima was just an average teen in the Satellite, or at least, so she thought... Truth be told, Rai was a lot more special than she even realized. Psychic duelists, these are those who can manipulate special powers and make attack damage in a duel real, which is why such a facility such as the Arcadia Movement was created specifically for that reason. The Arcadia Movement houses those who don't belong, or so those with psychic abilities, of which, Rai had no idea of. True, she was aware of that fact that she could possibly hurt people in a duel, which is why she tried to keep this secret of hers buried. Only one person knew of this secret, as well as strange dreams she had been having, and that was her childhood friend, Yusei Fudo. Rai felt he was the only one she could trust, and so Yusei never told anyone her secret, only these two friends knowing the truth about the red-haired duelist. However, what happens when these so-called "dreams" are not what they seem? When Rae discovers this revelation, it soon stirs up big trouble for her. Now, with her memory wiped clean, she is now going to be thrown on a wild adventure she never saw coming, one that could leave the fate of the world at stake. Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's: The Reinvention of Leo (Yugioh Fanfic)

5 parts Ongoing

First Sayer, then Dark Signer Devack and now recently Lester, along with every other loss, failure, and general bad event he's had to deal with. Leo is just down on his luck. Compared to others, he's not a great or even that good of a duelist, not having a real win to his name, despite his best efforts. He hasn't succeeded in anything remotely worthy, and compared to almost everyone, his twins sister Luna specifically, he knows. He's pretty much a joke. And what hurts the most is that he knows it. But when a misunderstanding with the popular new girl leads to yet another loss and on top of it public humiliation in school, it really drives him over the edge. Leo finds himself alone, and he doesn't know what to do or who to turn to. Join Leo in this fan story that aims to bring out a new side of Yu-Gi-Oh's greatest letdown of what, in other ways, is a really well-made character. I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh. All related characters and themes are owned by Konami and the late GOAT Kazuki Takahashi.
