The wizard population is dwindling after more than half of the population was killed during the war. The Ministry of Magic are taking desperate measures, without knowing how much their decisions are going to impact the lives of everyone around them.
"Desperate times," announced the Minister of Magic, "call for desperate measures."
With a unanimous decision, the Ministry decreed a new law, effective, immediately.
Unfortunately, it seemed that the legendary Golden Trio were going to be effected greatly, as were their friends, classmates.....and relationships.
The new law stated, "...those above the age of seventeen and below the age of twenty five, will be matched with a chosen partner and will be expected to marry within five months and produce two children within a given requirement (to be determined). All previous relationships will be set aside as the chosen candidates will be matched with a spouse that is guaranteed optimal chance for lasting."
Life as the adults knew it would never be the same. After all, desperate times, call for desperate measures.

After The Marriage Law~ Dramione & Harivia
When the Golden Trio & Friends & Enemies go back to Hogwarts to retake their seventh year, a Marriage Law is put into place. Hermione gets Draco Malfoy, Harry gets some random Ravenclaw, Luna gets Neville, Ginny gets Blaise, and Ron gets Pansy. They learned to love each other, and they eventually get married and have kids. When Hermione's first born is born, Olivia (The random Ravenclaw) gets a call for her to go a quest to restore Hogwarts to its former glory as the heir of Hogwarts. So after the war the wizarding world was being rebuilt. Kingsley Shacklebolt was made the temporary Minister of Magic. Hogwarts was being rebuilt so that it could be ready to a new school year by September 1st with Professor McGonagall as Headmistress. There were trials for all deatheaters and most were sentenced with life in Azkaban. Some got house imprisonment and were made to pay a massive fine like the Malfoys. Severus Snape was cleared of all charges. But during a population count of all the lives lost during the war, the ministry decided to reintroduce an old law. A marriage law, which would pair up 30 couples aged between 17 and 25. The couples would have to marry and have a child or suffer the consequences.
