Skylar Kostas, born and raised in Mullingar, Ireland moved to Doncaster, England with her father when he got a new job. Leaving in the middle of year 13 she had to pack all of her things, say goodbye to all of her friends, and start a new life at The Hayfield School.

While Skylar is continuing her studies, a brand new boyband hits the top of the charts and steals teenage girls' hearts around the world. Skylar never really payed attention to the latest celebrity gossip or who's dating who, but her best friend Lindsey sure did. When Skylar attends a One Direction concert that Lindsey somehow scored tickets to, she realizes something that made her stomach churn with regret.
