In a desperate attempt to change their fates, Masky and Hoodie defy their roles as Proxies and begin searching for a way to destroy the creature they work for. They do it to save anyone else from being affected by this monster, and to avenge the friends the lost to it.  In this task, they betray their boss and their friendships they'd made with the ones surrounding him. How far will their self-preservation carry them?

The First and The Last (A Creepypasta X Reader) by reastabc

This is a story about Slenderman's first proxy. Now, of course, this story must start at the beginning, when he first meets you. Set in the 1800s, you meet Slenderman after running away from some men and into the nearby forest. After about 200 years, when Masky, Hoodie, and Toby are his proxies, he assigns them a difficult task. A task to find this "runaway proxy" and bring her back. This is my version on how Tim and Brian (Or Masky and Hoodie) became proxies to the myth Slenderman. There's a lot of conflict in most of the fandom about whether they are or aren't proxies. So I thought i'd give my reasoning on how they ended up leaving The Operator and succumbing to Slender and joining him. Y/N starts to realize there's more to this mansion-and the people in it-than she could have ever imagined.
