Sidney has been moved from asylum to asylum for the past seven years. She finally get's moved to a place named Westin Hills Psychiatric Hospital. After seeing someone getting attacked in their sleep on her first day there she soon begins to see a demonic man in her dreams that they call Freddy. Her best friend is a ghost that she accidentally released seven years ago, Gregory, and she loves how real her dreams have become with him in Freddy's dream world and they can finally be together as if he was alive. He protects her from Freddy until they realize that he's too strong to be trifled with.
