BOOK 1 ELEMENTAL SERIES: TILL THE WATER DRIES OUT Everyone calls her the retard, the freak who set fire to a teacher's tie and then dyed her hair blue. She just calls herself impulsive. Victoria has lived her seventeen years of existence in a children's home, under the care of madam Minch, with no recollection of her parents, and no relations that she knows of. Now that high school is almost over, and college doesn't look too prospective, she wonders whether she's meant to spend her life at the home forever. But that is before she meets Professor Morgan Eldridge, of Eldridge College of the Magical Arts, who knew her mother, and believes that Tori is no ordinary girl. At the College, Tori hears whispers about a man everyone calls Montefiore, who viciously strips people of their Elemental core and steals their Magical power. What has he to do with Tori? And why is he so adamant to have her dead?
