Who could've thought that an explosion from the other side of my room(caused by microwaving a burrito for too long...yes...a burrito) would send my phone hurtling at my head, over 257 miles per hour. Cracking my skull and smashing into my brain. Who would have guessed i would have woken up a couple weeks later. Told by the doctors that my phone burst into thousands of pieces as it broke my skull,the pieces piercing my skull. They removed most of them...And my skull healed...my senses improved...my strength ,speed ,intellect...everything i am and was...improved...I became something less than human...but also something more...much more.

He tasted her; she tasted exactly how he thought - a mix of rose with honey, a taste so alluring he couldn't explain. Pinching her waist slightly, making her gasp, I use the opportunity to enter my tongue inside her mouth, deepening the kiss, tilting her head, molding her into me. Long ago a group of superheroes and villains worked together to prevent an invasion. But they managed to kill more people than they saved. Their destruction caused the perception of those with powers to dramatically shift; to the point of outcast. 50 years later crime as only increased to the point where not even the police respond to calls. Few heroes went into hiding to 'play normal'; like my family and I. I live in New Haven City. I've been lucky enough that I don't have powers that attract too much attention --- Everything was going great. Everything was normal. Until Jamie was forced to confront the reality of her situation. My whole life just changed in one day. I was kidnapped by a scientist gone rogue. Experimented on with nanotechnology that could change the world as we know it. A shocker to me after being obliterated by a damn car upon the parking lot; I wake up as myself into the Star Trek world, me the chubby sister of soon to be Captain Kirk, me younger than him by one year, and all my knowledge of me being here in my brain, as well I am born with powers no human should have from anime from my timeline, yet the anime don't exist here, including I heal rapidly like Ban, and also because of that I don't age past maturity. James Kirk my brother wants my powers kept secret in the Academy, and yet I don't think I can. Then when I meet my favorite character I crush on in my world Spock, and he's such a pain towards me, because I'm a sarcastic, witty, and a cursaholic, earning me the nickname Motor Mouth by my older brother, and I'm 29. The name Motor Mouth is a teasing nickname my brother uses to me, or being sarcastic to me, yet I take the title. Soon I would find out the emotionless Spock would find in the future my sick sense of humor, my witty personality, and yet sarcastic, and cursaholic mouth amusing, only he tells me so in secret.

My lungs and muscles burned. Everything in my body begging me to stop but I had to keep moving. I had to get away. I rather die than go back to that lab but this building was a maze! My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow.
