Angela Evans is her high school's "good girl". She gets straight A's, she's always had a 4.0 GPA, does everything she is supposed to and she never, ever wears anything revealing.

Jessica Jones is the resident "bad girl" at the very same high school. She wears whatever she wants, does whatever she wants whenever she wants, has detention practically every other day, and she's gotten arrested, but, luckily for her, the charges were dropped.

Tommy Jones is Jessica's older brother. He, like Jessica, does whatever he wants whenever he wants. Tommy is the life of the party; he just wants to have fun. But, unlike Jessica, Tommy was a straight A student, he only got detention once and he has many friends.

Ethan Edwards is well Ethan Edwards. He's just himself and he's proud of it. I guess if you had to describe Ethan in one word it would be HOT! Okay, so maybe that's not the best description. He's also sweet and caring, and he has really good street smarts.

So what happens when Angela's parents tell her she needs to go out and have fun and make new friends. Well make any friends seeing as she doesn't have any outside of her family. She walks right up to the "bad girl" Jessica and asks if she wants to hang out Friday night. Jessica accepts her invitation thinking that she will be able to scare her away so she never bothers her again. Unexpected events bring them closer than they ever thought was possible, show people's true personalities, and Angela and Jessica learn who their real friends are. And as for scaring Angela away? Well, let's just say "good girl" Angela isn't the "goody-goody" everybody thinks she is.

Meet Violet Summers. She's the sarcastic girl who doesn't really ever get noticed by anyone. She blends into any crowd because of how "normal" she is. And she loves it. She wouldn't be able to stand the attention of everyone around her. That's why she won't tell Ryan Bloore, her crush for three years, that she practically worships the ground he walks on. Ryan is the captain of the basketball team at their school, so guys see him like he's a god and girls act like he walks on water. If they were to date, all eyes would be on her- she would be under everyone's scrutiny. So she's kept her feelings a secret, and she's done her best to suppress her emotions these past years, but she's realized that she's been so caught up in making people not notice her that she didn't realize how lonely she would be when no one was watching. Now meet Ryder Knight. School bad boy. Quarterback captain and heartthrob. The kind that wears a leather jacket and has tattoos all over his arms. The one who shows up to school riding a motorcycle. Just your average run of the mill "if you get involved with this guy, you will meet some serious trouble" kind of male. Well, too bad for Violet, she's stuck with him now. After all of the years of pushing away her feelings for Ryan because of her fear of being seen, she is now all anyone can look at- because of Ryder. Because of him, she can feel their stares, and she hates him for it. The longer they spend time together, the more Ryder starts to realize he actually enjoys being around her-despite her snarky comments about how much she despises him. And if Violet is being completely honest with herself, she's also starting to realize she might not actually hate the fact that people are noticing her now, but hate the way Ryder makes her feel.
