They started dating on their last day of being freshmen and stopped on their final day in sophomore year. Some people thought it was impossible for them to be together if they don't even get along well. But the others said that most lovers hated each other before they started loving one another. That is what excactly what happened to Rikkai's Troublesome Lovers. Echizen Riyanna and Niou Masaharu.

Echizen Riyannna is 2 years older than our Prince of Tennis and 3 years younger than Echizen Ryoga. Former lover of Niou Masaharu, Rikkai's Trickster.

After their break-up, Riyanna disappeared from Rikkai Dai. Nobody knew where she went. Not even her family. Leaving Rikkai's Trickster devastated for the sudden disappearance of Riyanna.

When Rikkai Dai had a match with Seigaku, they questioned Riyanna's little brother, Ryoma, where she was. But the Prince only answered, "It was the Trickster's fault why she left."

A month or so passed, all the middle schoolers were invited to the U-17 Camp. However, they weren't the only ones invited to the camp.
