News spread quickly of the new arrivals of Olympus. The twin archers, Artemis and Apollo, were the greatest news since their declared victory against the Titans. Unknown to them, a woman had given birth a few hours earlier than Leto. Her child had tan skin and wind blown black hair. Even for a baby he had some muscle and the start of a six pack. But that wasn't the most interesting feature about this child, no. It was the eyes.

The eyes of the Creator.

Together they decided that Eirine would run away to live on earth as a normal person and not as a goddess. She would be hidden with their daughter, until they figured something out. But...word leaked out and as Apollo bid her farewell they were caught in a crossfire between two elements, that of the sea and the other from the lands. Each side fought over who would take the child, because it was said that she would be the next in line in Poseidons sea world kingdom,or that she would be the next ruler of a kingdom on land, whether it be her mates or not. Her existence brought war and Chaos upon them all.Knowbody cared for the now 6 month old baby, all they wanted from her was the power she possessed, and for the great things that were destined in her future. Artemis, the beloved daughter of sovereign Zeus and rich-haired Leto, was born through passion and blessed with gifts. She was also the most beautiful among the Olympians. Her whims and desires could change the course of human destiny. No goddess had more freedom and intriguing life than the immortal huntress. With the rest of her chosen Nymphai, though all are lovely, there is no mistaking which one she is. Artemis with her flowing golden hair and golden limbs is alike her twin brother Apollo, a delighter in arrows and the silver bow. She, too, enjoys the company of beautiful maidens. Though her life was full of adventures and thrills, there were also tragedies. |Lesbian Retelling of Greek Mythology|
