Alrymna is a land on the verge of war. Entire villages have been slaughtered, burned almost to the ground. Though there have been no survivors, those who happened on the scene claim it to be the work of dragons, and some are calling for the army to push into the Cotari mountains to wipe them out. However, the king delays action, waiting for solid proof of who (or what) is responsible.
But our story starts in a remote town by the name of Denai, where a young hunter by the name of Raynen is tricked into hunting a beast that tore through a farmer's livestock, one that some thought to be only myth. However, the beast soon proves to be only the least of his concerns, as events spiral out of his control and force him into situations far more dangerous he could have ever expected.
