Okay okay wait, Gerard isn't normal he's actually a spirit, and he's totally not seeking revenge on the person/people who murdered him.

But the cool thing about Gerard is that no one really knows that he's dead.

Before anyone could figure out that he was dead, the killers disposed of his body, by burning it.

So, after quite some time looking, Gerard found Lindsey Ballato, a witch. And not lying, she was probably the best witch that was around in Jersey.

He gave him a bottle of weird purple liquid, which Gerard couldn't exactly pick up, Lindsey made sure he actually did, and drank that.

It's called Glamour. 

Basically making him look and act like a human, etcetera.

Then there's Frank Iero.

The vegan vampire.

And you can figure out how he works. 

So when these two meet under, wildly unofficial circumstances, what even happens because these two are really fucking weird and not good at flirting, like at all.

Let's just clear this up; Gerard Way is a flaming homosexual that is single, and so is Frank Iero. So uh, let's keep shipping it until it actually happens.

Those who are chosen are sent to war or they sweep the streets for the unwanted. every year, 5 people are chosen and this year, Gerard happened to be one of them. Frank Iero happens to be part of the unwanted. for all anybody knows, he's dead, but he isn't. he's hiding in the sewers, keeping himself alive. the unwanted are sent to a camp where they'll be executed. there are always those who escape but most are killed on sight. Frank on the other hand is sneaky and he got out. now he hides out with the rest of the escapees. what's gonna happen when Gerard meets Frank? Completed!!

He's normal now, he's a person now, he's a fucking adult with an office job and he fucking hates it and that's fine, because he got out of the mental hospital three years ago, and these past three years of mundane nothingness have been the best three years of his life. Ten years ago, or so, Frank was in love with a boy called Gerard with fiery red hair and the personality of a switchblade knife, and ten years ago that boy called Gerard had killed himself. Frank still saw him though: hallucinations, as he knew them to be now, and it took him years in a hospital he never thought he'd get out of to convince himself of his newfound sanity, but he was okay now. Twenty eight year old Frank Iero had been officially 'okay' since he was twenty five. He hadn't seen Gerard again, and he didn't even think about the guy - he was just normal, and he was almost painfully content with being the secretary to someone with a five figure salary. But of course, on one fateful morning in December, that has to go and change, doesn't it? (Technically a sequel to Summertime, but I wouldn't say you need to have read Summertime to understand and enjoy this)
