The story follows an ordinary teenager about to enter her adulthood.....well she is less than ordinary. Nothing special about her. If any of you relate with her life, you are welcome to proceed with the story. This story is for all the people who find that they cannot relate with the bold and beautiful girl or with the nerdy but totally awesome teen or even with the ordinary teen who is somehow special. As I said my character is pretty ordinary(or less than ordinary) but she is special in her own way. This story is to remind you that your ordinary characters are special to someone else out there. So don't worry. Let the haters hate but don't hate yourself! Trust me when I say this, love yourself no matter what others say! So read this story if you want to read about somebody's normal life in a city where people are not so normal

This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him. A dangerous strangers loves to kill little girls, and his sister Kit
