My name is Aaliah Mersais, I am an elementalist with the ability to control fire and water. There are hundreds like me living in the everyday world, at the palace, or in private schools. I am a prisoner at Vladimir Petrovis School for Elementalists and I would not wish that fate upon anyone. But there is a reason I am a "prisoner," it is so that I have no control on events outside of the force field around the school grounds. Having no control includes not being able to stop them from capturing my only childhood friend and using him to make me do what they want. Except the problem is... He is more than a friend now. If he was still just a friend maybe it would be easier, but as it is, I cannot stand there and do nothing while they threaten to kill him.
They might think I am the ace they hold in their sleeve, that hidden weapon they can use when they need it. I am not that. I am a teenage girl who only wants to love and be loved.

Aren't they? ᴀʀɴᴀᴠ ᴀɢᴀʀᴡᴀʟ Academic Weapon. That's what I have been my whole life, a weapon for my father..the heir to the vast Agarwal Empire, The prince of the Empire of Sin. He always wanted to turn me into a mirror where he can see his cruel demeanor, so that's why I enrolled in New York's Top most college to get that Valedictorian Title. I made a deal with the devil, get him the valedictorian title in exchange of my freedom. But that one silver haired Barbie, with her snarky remarks and cold behavior and not to mention, a sharp mind, she was one of the most popular girls and my sworn nemesis. A mere obstacle.
