"What was life like back in the olden days?" Jackie would always find herself asking her grandpa. "I don't know, what do you think it was like?" was the same answer everytime. Whenever she would ask her grandpa that question, he never gave her a direct answer. "I like to make you think. It gives you something to do. If I just told you, it would spoil all the fun." he would tell her. Eventually, Jackie got tired of this answer. She spent hours upon hours, days upon days, weeks upon weeks, laying in bed. All they ever learned in History class was about the Indians, or government. Never about how life was like in the 1940's when her grandpa was born. He always left her to think. Never giving the slightest clue. And when she wounds go and share her ideas, all he would do was laugh and say, "You have quite the imagination Jackie." and leave her to keep thinking, and wondering. Where one day, she got tired of thinking, and decided to go find out for herself...
