There is more to Stanford Pines than what meets the eye. Dipper knows this for a fact. But what he doesn't know, is what Great Uncle Ford has discovered outside Gravity Falls. Outside of this world.
Lost in the dimensions, Ford found himself in Krimson City, partnering with scientist, Ruben Victoriano, a brilliant, yet insane, psychologist hell-bent on developing a machine to link several consciousnesses into one mind. As bad came to worse and treachery began to unfold between the trio, Ford eventually managed to flee to another dimension.
Now that he is back with his family, he has nearly forgotten the horrors he had witnessed. But when Dipper finds a new journal, one containing a log of all of his experiences within Krimson City, Ford explains that he wishes to forget about his encounter with Ruben and the atrocities he had unknowingly helped him preform.
But true evil never dies.
