Eleanor Woods was her name. Jasper Brooks was his name. For Eleanor and Jasper, the 5th of January 1941, is considered one of the best days of their lives, because that's when they met each other. Eleanor's best friend, Rose, who is a war nurse, dragged her along to a going-away dance party for the soldiers going to war. That going-away party changed Eleanor's life for the better as she met the handsome Jasper Brooks that was supposedly one of the best pilots in the sky for the Air Force. But, when he goes away for war for three months, and she is suddenly not receiving his usual love letters that he sends her, she begins to worry for his safety while he is away. Will Eleanor ever see her soulmate again, or was the last letter to her the last time she will hear from Jasper?

Y/n L/n is different than the typical woman around her. She's closer to airplanes and war then anyone else, and the reason is because her father is Army's airplane captain. Y/n never planned to develop feelings for any of the boys, in particular Rafe McCawley. Because that's her father's number 1 rule (never date any of the pilots). But Rafe and Y/n can't help falling in love right in the middle of WWII none the less. Will they make it through, read and find out.
