Humphrey's Library: The Dark Edition

The life of twelve-year-old Dade is about to change forever. After moving to a new town, he meets an unlikely group of friends. Everything seems to be normal in this new town until the group discovers a hidden library in an old mansion that is heard to be haunted. A sign on the wall speaks of great treasure but warns that the adventure is not for the faint of heart. The talk of treasure sparks interest. However, the children swiftly come to the realization that this is no ordinary library. As one of the children in the group start to read from a book in the library, the book becomes reality as they all get sucked into the storyline. When one of the kids becomes trapped, the others have to fight their way through the horror story to get out of the book and release their friend. Can they find their way to the end of the book, or will they all stay trapped in a horror story forever?

The Dark Edition is a separate series that will follow along with the normal Humphrey's Library series. The Dark Edition is a Horror story version of the original adventure fantasy series. the stories will seem the same at certain points, but then they will change to differentiate the horror and adventure genres.
