The forgotten hero

"Are you ready for this?" she said, sliding her hand into his. He took a deep breath and replied,
"Ready as I'll ever be, lets do this and get over with it."
Together they stepped inside the portal, ready to whisk them off to a place, where the memories were still fresh.
