Sephiroth had been defeated, but the planet was now in shambles and the Lifestream demanded retribution. 

The geostigma now rained havoc in the streets, taking many lives and corrupting others. 

There was no cure, no salvation, only suffering. 

Years had passed since Cloud and his group of friends had stopped Sephiroth but he was never the same since Aerith had perished and with his true identity revealed. 
 
He was stuck in the past. With no way out. 

But what should happen when rumours start to spur of Sephiroth possible resurgence?
