I got the inspiration for this story from a similar oneshot on Fanfiction.net by Aeon The Dimensional Girl if the user wishes for me to take this one down I will, however I will point out that I expanded on the concept and definitely made it my own. Originally gonna be a one shot, but ended up being too long for a one shot. Merlin returns to Camelot after Arthur dies and gets banished by Gwen. He goes to sit by the lake of Avalon to wait for Arthur. Eventually Arthur returns. Merlin is not immortal in this version, however he is still extremely powerful. This is about their life together. Will they be able to help their friend Merlin? Or will Merlin hide the extent of his pain and drown as a result? This story is specifically for fans of the Merlin TV show. We pick up right at the last episode of the show however I made a few changes...This work is my own with the addition of a completely new story line that just continues that heart-felt and silly world from the show that we all love. This story is about love and the struggles that we must overcome in the name of it. A lot of Merthur, but I keep it pretty pg-13 so don't expect a lot of smut. Pls do read this! It starts out bad but I get better at writing as time passes! This is a merthur one shot book it is going to be almost all fluff maybe one or two angst. I will not write smut. Unfortunately I don't own Merlin or any of the other characters. They belong to the bbc Merlin. I made this cuz some fanfics that I wanna see don't get written so here they are. Merthur. During Merlin's absence, jealous Arthur is tortured by his suspicions. Events take place at the end of s5ep08 and a little bit after it. Mostly gap fillers.
