The time is 2034 the middle of December in Hiddentown, Kentucky. Cassy and her family had moved her just two weeks ago to “have some fun” and “get some fresh air”. Hiddentown however was not a place where you could just walk around. Many of the so called fictional characters lived there like werewolves and vampires even fairies and mages. Hiddentown was doing a dangerous experiment with genes that they would soon find out to have a devastating effect. While walking home from a friend’s house one day Cassy noticed some odd things going on in her town, these things will change her life from the very strands of everything she has none and jumble it all up changing her life completely forever.

Secrets and lies were never a part of my life. Until, that is, I met him. Then, everything changed. Or, maybe things were always messed up, and meeting him just brought clarity to the obvious. He says we're meant to be together, but I don't even know who I am anymore. He says he will always protect me, but he doesn't understand the pain that I've faced in my life. Werewolves used to be the villains in fantasy that I read growing up. The wolf who chased after Red. The wolf who blew down the little pigs' houses. Now, I'm told that they're real, and I am meant to spend the rest of my life with one.
