Sapphire has moved away from her old town and moved to a new one. Ever since her father died things have been hard for Sapphire and her mom. They move to a town called Riverside and her one best friend, Lucy, doesn't approve. Her new town is in the mountains and it's almost winter time, which means more snow for them! But when Sapphires birthday rolls around, her mother gets her a puppy to cheer her up about the move, and she is thrilled! She gives the puppy all her love and affection. But when s blizzard hits her hometown, her puppy gets stuck in it! Now Sapphire and her mom must find the puppy before it's too late!
